Villa Berengere is located just under 1km from the picturesque village of Roussillon 'un des plus beaux villages de France' situated in the centre of the Luberon valley. The house is on the outskirts of the village on a south-facing hillside with superb panoramic views south across the valley to the Luberon mountains. The villa has its own private garden, terraces and pool which enjoys magnificent panoramic views over the Luberon valley to the mountains beyond. Its just a 15 minute walk into the village for your early morning baguette or pre-dinner aperitif.
The House
The single storey villa is built with all rooms opening onto the terrace One end of the terrace has a covered area for outdoor eating for which tables and chairs are provided. There is a large living/dining room with a Provencal fireplace for open log fires. Opening off the dining room is a fully fitted modern kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room opens out at the front of the house on to the large terrace overlooking the pool.
There are three charming bedrooms, one twin, one double and a further double with ensuite bathroom. There is an additional shower and toilet. All the bedrooms are attractively furnished and all open out on to the terrace. The house comfortably sleeps 6 - up to 8 with the use of a sofa bed in the living room. There are electric heaters for the cooler months and a television and telephone are provided. A barbecue is also provided.
The south-facing terrace is secluded and has a panoramic view over the whole of the Luberon mountain range. Chairs and tables are provided for eating out. A paved area and lawns with lots of sunbathing space surround the swimming pool. In our experience swimming in April is only for the very hardy and the pool is open from May to end September.
Bed linen and towels are provided and also a cleaner for the end of your stay.

Booking Conditions & Rental Cost 2008
The rent includes all services except telephone charges and heating in the cooler months. A cleaning lady is provided for the end of your stay.

If you are considering renting our house outside of these dates please contact us to discuss the cost.
We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. A damages deposit of £370 is payable by separate cheque at time of final payment. This is refunded after your departure once the house has been checked. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive after 16:00 p.m. and to leave by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance that covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
