The house is located on the edge of the pretty village of Rustrel situated at the eastern end of the Luberon valley. The house is completely private with its own garden and pool with lovely views of the beautiful Luberon hills from the covered terrace which is ideal for outdoor dining.
There is local shopping in the village for your every day needs including an excellent boulangerie a 2 minute stroll away. There is also a restaurant in the village offering local provencal dishes and a bar which serves pizzas.
The House
L'Oustau des Oliviers is a pretty house with two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom plus a small single bedroom suitable for a child. There is a large family bathroom with toilet plus an additional shower room with toilet. Downstairs there is a large light and airy living/dining room which opens out onto the front of the house, and the large covered terrace with its lovely views across the countryside provides welcome shade in the heat of the day.
The comfortable living room has an open fireplace and is equipped with Satellite TV and DVD player. There is also a separate toilet downstairs. The house has air conditioning throughout and is prettily furnished in provencal style with attractive tiled floors throughout. Broadband internet connection is available for an additional charge.
The kitchen area leads off the living room through an archway and is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave with a washing machine in an adjoining utility room.
The garden is completely private and the house has its own large swimming pool which is fenced for safety purposes. Outdoor furniture is provided for al fresco dining and loungers for the pool are also provided.
Bed linen and towels are provided, with the exception of pool towels which can be hired from the owner at a cost of 5€ per towel. If you require pool towels, please advise at the time of booking .

Booking Conditions & Rental Cost 2008
The rent includes all services except heating in the cooler months, and cleaning at the end of your stay. A cleaning cost of 80€ for cleaning on departure is payable direct to the owner on arrival.

If you are considering renting the house outside of these dates please contact us to discuss the cost.
Please note we can only take bookings for two weeks in July and August unless one week gaps happen to fall in the schedule.
We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. We also require a £350 deposit against damages as a separate cheque which should be sent at the time of making your final payment. Any breakages or damage will be made against the deposit and the balance returned to you. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive between after 4 p.m. and to leave at 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
