The House

La Molière is a beautiful old provencal farmhouse and restored hamlet and is a very spacious and comfortable provencal house in a peaceful location in the countryside about 2 km from the village. The house is full of charm and character from the delightful pebbled courtyard to the cellars still with the old stables beneath the house. It is completely private, has lots of outdoor space and has lovely views of the Luberon hills. The house is very comfortably furnished, has many interesting features and huge amounts of living space. There is a well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher and separate washing machine. The large and airy living/dining room has a comfortable seating area and an open fireplace and this room, leads out on to the south facing terrace, courtyard and outdoor dining area under the shady arbour of vines and clematis. There is a further very large living space on the first floor and a separate sitting room/office with PC and broadband internet access. There is a separate TV room on the first floor. The house has a CD Hifi, DVD and television (French channels only) for entertainment.

There are six bedrooms and four bath/shower rooms, two ensuite and the house very comfortably accommodates 12 people. There are two double bedrooms on the ground floor, one has its own bathroom and there is a second separate bathroom. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms, one ensuite, a twin bedroom and a separate additional bathroom. Five of the double bedrooms can also be used as twins. All the bedrooms are light and airy with large windows opening out onto the lovely countryside views.

The garden meanders down the hillside with pretty landscaped planting, grassy areas and plenty of shady spots for lounging under the trees. The large 7 x 17 m swimming pool is on a terrace to the side of the house with a paved area with pool loungers. The pool itself faces due south and enjoys the same lovely views as the house. The pool is fenced for security. There are two separate outdoor dining areas, one in the shade of the arbour in front of the house, one completely covered and enclosed providing a real outdoor dining room sheltered from the breeze. There is a bbq and a boulodrome which has lighting for evening matches.

Bed linen and towels are provided (except towels for the pool) together with a cleaning service once a week during your stay and also at the end of your stay. Telephone call charges are extra. There is a resident housekeeper/gardien who lives in a completely separate house nearby and who takes care of the gardening and pool maintenance every week.

La Molière is an exceptional property offering very comfortable spacious living in a beautiful countryside situation in the Parc Naturel du Luberon. Absolutely ideal for one or two families or a large group of friends
