The house is well located for exploring the Luberon valley and further afield, the attractions of Avignon, Aix, St. Remy, Nimes, Orange and Arles are all within easy driving distance.

The House

This charming two storey house nestles against the ochre cliffs just below the village centre. The house is has been lovingly restored, is full of character and is tastefully decorated throughout in pretty provencal style and lime stone floors throughout. The large living room opens out onto the pool and garden and is comfortably furnished for relaxed living. The well equipped kitchen leads off the living room and there is a separate small dining area with a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge/freezer and there is a separate washing machine. The shady terrace has superb views up to the village and is great for outdoor dining for which table and chairs are provided.

There are two charming bedrooms upstairs, one double overlooking the garden and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds suitable for children. There is a shower room and toilet downstairs and a separate bathroom and toilet upstairs. The house has a lovely traditional stone provencal fireplace for log fires during the cooler months and there is also electric under floor heating. There is a television with satellite reception for English channels, DVD and CD player for entertainment. The house has a wireless internet connection.

The house has a private sheltered pretty south facing garden with trees and flower beds. There is paving around 4x3 metre free form pool and pool loungers are provided. The pool and garden give lovely views of the village, particularly picturesque in the evening when the ochre cliffs are illuminated. Bed linen and towels are provided and also a cleaner for the end of your stay. Please bring your own pool towels.
