Le Cabanon is located in the countryside near to Villars a pretty village situated towards the eastern end of the Luberon valley about 10 minutes drive from the town of Apt. There is a small shop in the village but for a bigger choice of shops, the village of St. Saturnin is a few minutes drive away. St. Saturnin has two excellent bakers and a butcher plus a small supermarket. Good Cotes de Ventoux and Cotes du Luberon wine can be bought at any of the local Caves Co-operatives at the sort of price you dream of.There are many good restaurants in the area including the excellent La Fontaine in Villars itself.

The House
This delightful cottage is a restored stone built Cabanon which forms part of the owners property. It is very private with its own entrance and garden. The house is in a rural situation overlooking the countryside and is in a very peaceful location.
The house is arranged on three levels. The ground floor has a charming provencal style dining/kitchen which is fully equipped with cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. A winding staircase leads to the second floor and the comfortable living room with provencal fireplace and views over the countryside. A separate access to the outside leads off this room via a small terrace. A double bedroom is under the eaves on the third floor of the house and has twin beds and a wash basin. The kitchen opens out at the front of the house on to the garden with table and chairs for outdoor dining and a barbecue. The shower room and toilet are situated on the ground floor together with the washing machine. All the rooms are very attractively furnished and the house comfortably accommodates 2 people - up to four with the use of a sofa bed in the living room. There is an oil burning stove in the kitchen and a television for entertainment (French channels only). The house is also equipped for Wifi broadband internet.
Le Cabanon has its own pretty garden which is secluded and solely for the use of the Cabanon clients. The 11x6 metre swimming pool is shared with the owners and is surrounded by a landscaped area . Loungers are provided.
Bed linen is provided but please bring your own towels.
Le Cabanon is available for letting during the months of June to September only and is a delightful provencal hideaway for 2 .

Booking Conditions & Rental Cost 2008
The rent includes all services except telephone calls. The cost of telephone calls is deducted from your damages deposit on receipt of the France Telecom bill which itemises all calls made. There is a charge for heating from November to March according to consumption. Guests are asked to clean the house on departure. A cleaning service can be arranged if preferred for an additional charge

If you are considering renting the house outside of these dates please contact us to discuss possible availability and rental cost.
We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. We also require a £500 deposit against damages as a separate cheque which should be sent at the time of making final payment and which is refundable to you one week after departure. A separate charge of 45€ for cleaning is payable direct to the owner on arrival. Any damage or breakages will be made against the deposit and the balance returned to you within one week of your departure.
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. In order to check the house we ask guests to arrive between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and to leave at 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
