Villa le Chêne is located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Roussillon 'un des plus beaux villages de France' situated in the centre of the Luberon valley. Le Chene has a large private garden of oaks and pines with views of the countryside from it's terraces and pool.

The House

The house is built with all the rooms opening out onto the terrace. One end of the terrace has a covered area for outdoor eating for which tables and chairs are provided. There is a large living/dining room with a Provencal fireplace for open log fires. Opening off the dining room is a fully fitted modern kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room opens out at the front of the house on to the large terrace overlooking the pool.

There are three charming bedrooms , one twin, one double and a further double with ensuite bathroom. There is an additional shower and toilet. All the bedrooms are attractively furnished. The house sleeps 6 - up to 8 with the use of a sofa bed in the living room. There are electric heaters for the cooler months and a television and telephone are provided. A barbecue is also provided.

The 9 x 4 metre swimming pool is surrounded by a paved area with lots of sunbathing space and pool loungers are provided

Bed linen and towels are provided and also a cleaner for the end of your stay.

Booking Conditions & Rental Cost

The rent includes all services except telephone charges. A cleaning lady is provided for the end of your stay.

We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. A damages deposit of £370 is payable by separate cheque at time of final payment. This is refunded after your departure once the house has been checked. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive after 16.00 p.m. and to leave by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA.
