The property is located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Roussillon, 'un des plus beaux villages de France' situated in the centre of the Luberon valley and famous for its red ochre cliffs, artist and pottery shops. Le Mazet is a short 15 minute walk into the village which has several shops, cafes and restaurants
The House
The single storey villa is decorated throughout in pretty provencal style. There is an open plan kitchen living diner which leads to the large covered terrace for outdoor eating and tables and chairs are provided. The modern corner kitchen is fitted with a hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
There are two charming bedrooms, one twin and one double and a shower room with shower, with toilet and basin. Electric heaters are provided for the cooler months and a television is available for entertainment.
Le Mazet has a private garden surrounded by mature trees and hedges. There is paving around 8 x 4 metre pool together with garden wall providing the ideal sun trap for sunbathing. Distant views of the magnificent countryside are afforded from the pool area. Pool loungers are provided.
Bed linen and towels are provided and also a cleaner for the end of your stay.

If you are considering renting the house outside of these dates please contact us to discuss the cost.
We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking.
A damages deposit of £340 is payable by separate cheque at time of final payment. This is refunded after your departure once the house has been checked. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. In order to clean and check the house we ask guests to arrive after 16:00 p.m. and to leave by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA. .
