La Petite Mutte is located just under 1km from the picturesque village of Roussillon 'un des plus beaux villages de France' situated in the centre of the Luberon valley. The house is a small provencal house located on the outskirts of the village on a rural road with views south west across to the valley to the Luberon mountains.

The House

The two storey house has a living/dining room with a Provencal style chimney for open log fires. Opening off the living room is a fully fitted modern kitchen with oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The living room opens out at the front of the house on to a terrace overlooking the 3x7 metre pool. There are two bedrooms upstairs, one twin, one double and a shower room plus toilet. All the rooms are attractively furnished and the house comfortably accommodates 4 people. There is a sofa bed in the living room for larger parties. There are electric heaters for the cooler months and a television and telephone are provided.

The south facing terrace is secluded & shaded by a cane covered pergola and has a panoramic view over the Luberon. Chairs and tables are provided for eating out. The swimming pool is surrounded by a paved sunbathing area fringed by olive trees. The pool is open from May to the end September.

Bed linen and towels are provided and also a cleaner for the end of your stay.

Booking Conditions & Rental Cost

The rent includes all services except telephone charges.

We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. A damages deposit of £340 is payable by separate cheque at time of final payment. This is refunded after your departure once the house has been checked. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. In order to clean and check the house guests should plan arrive after 16.00 PM and to leave by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA .
