La Maison de Pierrefiche is located 2½ kilometres to the east of the town of Apt in the countryside at the foot of the Luberon hills. Apt has excellent shopping facilities with a renowned market every Saturday morning featuring a selection of superb local produce, pottery and other provencal goods
The House
Pierrefiche is a traditional provencal style house fully renovated, located in the countryside on the outskirts of the town of Apt with a large private garden of around 3000 square metres. The house has a large L-shaped living/dining room attractively furnished with good quality traditional furniture and with a stone fireplace for log fires. Opening off the living room is a fully fitted modem kitchen equipped with cooker, hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A washing machine, together with iron and ironing board are located in the utility room next to the kitchen and from which there is access to the garage.
Upstairs are three double bedrooms all fitted with wardrobe space. The largest of the bedrooms also has a cot. All the bedrooms have modern furnishings and white walls creating a pleasant light and airy atmosphere. They all face south and overlook the pool. The shower room with shower and washbasin is located on the ground floor together with a separate toilet. All the rooms are attractively furnished and the house comfortably accommodates 6 people.
The garden is secluded and consists mainly of lawn and trees. The three large terraces give plenty of pleasant shaded sitting out area and chairs, tables and a barbecue are provided for eating out. The 5 x 9m swimming pool is surrounded by a paved area with lots of sunbathing space. Loungers are provided. There is a television, equipped with a satellite receiver, in the living room for entertainment and the house has full central heating for the cooler months.
Please note, bed linen and towels are not provided at La Maison de
Pierrefiche but can be hired locally if you require.

Booking Conditions & Rental Cost 2008
The rent includes all services except heating which is charged according to consumption. Logs for the open fire are provided during the cooler months. Clients are asked to clean the house on departure.
Please note, bookings for July & August are for a minimum of two weeks

If you are considering renting the house outside of these dates please contact us to discuss the cost.
We ask for half the rent at the time of booking and the balance six weeks before the start of your holiday. If you are booking within 6 weeks of arrival we require full payment at the time of booking. A damages deposit of £250 is payable with your final balance payment. Any breakages, etc. will be made against the deposit and the balance returned to you. Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday. The arrival time for collection of keys is after 16.00 p.m and guests are asked to leave by 10 a.m. on the day of departure
In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit will be retained unless we can re-let or the whole payment if six weeks or less before the start of your intended stay. If we can re-let our additional expenditure, including advertising, will be deducted and the rest returned to you. We would therefore strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance which covers cancellation. This is widely available, for example from airlines, ferry companies, and the AA
